Why Are You Wasting Your Time Without Learner Personas?
The most successful advertising and marketing professionals all share a common secret to their success: They utilize personas to gain a deeper understanding of their customers' pain points and needs, and to tailor messaging that compels them to adopt or use their products. The most effective training adopts this same solution to performance problems - they place the learner and their needs at the center of their training design, making training focused, impactful and desirable.
How Effective is Your Training, Really?
Spending money on training doesn't guarantee upskilled employees. Training effectiveness measurement determines if the training has achieved its objectives. Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels of Training Evaluation is a widely accepted model: Reaction (learners' opinions), Learning (knowledge and skills acquired), Behavior (job application), and Results (tangible outcomes like reduced costs and increased productivity). To measure training effectiveness, choose a model, determine indicators of success, collect data via questionnaires, interviews, focus groups, and observation, then analyze feedback to improve future programs.
